Wicked Meatballs That Would Be Good On Their Own But Even Better With Bolognese Sauce

These frozen Beef & Pork Meatballs from Tesco can't have been available for long because I would deffo have noticed and brought them, when I saw them the other day I paid for them and hadn't been in the front door for 5 mins and put them in the oven because they looked so yummy on the box! I also cooked some spaghetti up and warmed some bolognese sauce up because the picture on the front of the box inspired me big time! lol

The meatballs can either be done in the oven or shallow fried, I don't hardly fry anything so did mine in the oven and LOADS of fat comes out of them in the oven so I'm glad I did because these would have been madly greasy out of the frying pan.

When they're cooked the meatballs have got a proper meaty flavour, the beef and pork go wicked together. I think the beef is the main flavour but you can also tell that they're made out of a mix of different meat, I wouldn't say you can actually taste the pork much but it's deffo there and it makes the beef a bit more interesting.

These meatballs have had salt and black pepper added to them as well, you can kind of taste the pepper but I don't think this flavouring was anything for Tesco to shout about because the meatballs are just seasoned like they should be and they're deffo not salt and pepper flavoured! lol

I had mine with the bolognese sauce poured over them, it was a bit weird because the outsides of the meatballs is quite smooth but they still soak some of the sauce up. That was wicked because the meatballs got a yummy bolognese flavour and it was the quickest and easiest spag bol I've ever cooked!

The meatballs cook through good and the middles of them were cooked all the way through, when I checked them after the 45 mins it said on the box there wasn't any raw meat inside or anything like that.

Recommended.... 12 delish meatballs for £1.49!!!
