... chicken tastes fresh and like proper chicken, not like the Asda version of this product that has got a horrible salty taste and is very sticky inside even after the goujons have been cooked for longer than the packet says.
The breadcrumbs on these are yummy, they've got a nice flavour that goes delish with the chicken. They go a bit golden while they're cooking and have got a nice crunchy texture that is lovely next to the soft chicken. If you're looking for these Breaded Chicken Goujons in Tesco please note that they are in red packaging for Xmas at the minute, it's the same product though because I buy these quite a bit and have had them in this plain pack and also the Xmas one. For £2.00 you get 12 chicken goujons and they are quite big so one pack will easy serve 2 or 3 if you're having them with chips or a jacket potato. We don't normally have ours as part of a meal and just cook them and have them on a plate to pick at. They are basically breaded strips of chicken and are yummy I think.
