      A great tasting sausage

I love sausages, they are one of my favourite foods and I am not loyal to one brand, but tend to go with a supermarket own brand or whatever is on special offer. For our Christmas morning fry-up I had decided to go for some with a bit more quality about them, hence the Tesco Finest!!

The 6 thick chunky sausages sit nicely in a black tray, are cling wrapped and have a cardboard sleeve as the packaging with all the nutritional information that might be required.

I found that these sausages were cooked perfectly when grilled for about 15 minutes. They can also be oven cooked or shallow fried. Each sausage contains 170 calories and 13g of fat (not a shock) and 3.75g of carbs.

The sausages were clearly filled with all sorts of herbs and seasonings as these were visible through the 'skin'. 85% pork is used which is good to see as usually the meat content is a lot less in cheaper sausages. They are fat and juicy and remain succulent once cooked.

I paid £2.59 for this six pack and they were on multibuy at 2 packs for £4.50.

They are not what I call a bargain, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless.
