      Yummy Chicken!

My dad makes a wicked tandoori sauce so the other day I offered to pick some drumsticks up for him to do something nice for tea. I only got these because they was in the reduced section and had to be eaten by the next day. The normal price is £3.50 for 825g but I paid £1.98. They're sold by weight so you probably won't get EXACTLY what is shown in the photo Dooyoo have got up, in my pack there was 4 thighs and 3 chicken drumsticks including one that was tiny.

You can cook them any way you like so I won't go on about the best way to cook this chicken. We had ours with tandoori sauce and baked in the oven.

All the pieces of chicken that I tried was gorgeous. The meat is proper juicy and the skin went mega crispy, you can deffo tell the difference between this chicken and the cheap Value stuff because this has got a stronger taste and didn't leave shedloads of water in the cooking dish like some mega cheap chicken we brought the other day.

The smell was wicked as well, the main smell was the tandoori spices and they was good enough but you can deffo smell the chicken itself cooking under that. The skin didn't shrink like happens with cheap chicken either and most of the meat was still covered in a delish layer of crispy skin.

Another thing is that most of each piece of chicken is actually CHICKEN and not bone, if you was to cut the meat off each piece then you'd end up with a big pile of yummy cooked chicken and not just a few scrappy little bits like what happens with cheaper chicken.

Recommended.... expensive compared to the Value range of chicken but the quality is a million times better. You get what you pay for and these probably work out about the same price when you suss out that there is more actual MEAT on these and they taste loads better!
