      Wicked Cooked Chicken From Tesco

Since I started cutting down on my meat I've been eating a lot of chicken and these Mini Flamegrill Chicken Fillets are gorgeous! They're £2.75 for a 200g pack and that will do about 3 portions if you're having it on a sandwich or mixed with pasta. I wish Tesco would stop calling these mini fillets because it makes them sound better than they are, to me they're just chunky chicken strips because if these was actual fillets they would come off such a small chicken that I'd feel bad eating them! lol They are already cooked but you can warm them up in the oven for about 15 mins, I've never had them hot because I buy this sort of thing to have cold anyway and if I'm having hot chicken I'll get some chicken breasts and cook them up myself. They have got a yummy flavour, the flamegrilling makes them taste a bit like they've been cooked on the bbq but this isn't as strong as if you'd got another of the flavoured chicken fillets that Tesco do. The chicken is cooked lovely and tender, it's not dry at all and has got a wicked flavour that goes nice with everything I've put this chicken with. I did a nice one yesterday with this chicken in the breville, just 2 pieces of brown bread spread with bbq sauce and then put some chicken in it and a bit of grated cheese. I know adding cheese and stuff kind of takes away the goodness of it being a Healthy Living product but I buy this because of the taste and not because it's got a few less calories in it. Chicken is lower fat than other meat anyway so a few calories from a bit of cheese isn't going to make much difference. This chicken is also proper nice for just taking bits out of the fridge and picking on, and it's LOADS healthier than grabbing pieces of cheese and stuff like that. Recommended..... and it's on offer a lot where you can buy 2 packs for £5.00. Not a brill saving but it's something!!!
