      This Meat Is Rank!

I've only had this Herb Pork Sausage once and wasn't that mad keen on it. It's a cooked meat and you get 10 slices of sausage for £1.00, it's like garlic sausage but without the garlic and with sage in it instead.

It's not all that nice I don't think and I was majorly disappointed because I was expecting the sausage to be nicer than this. It's dry but greasy at the same time and feels a bit sticky when you touch it, I think the main idea with these would be to have it on a sandwich and that's exactly what I did.

The sausage hasn't got a lot of flavour to it, you can taste the pork but it tastes more like luncheon meat than sausage to me and I thought the sage was proper over powering. Anyway why did they call it HERB sausage when looking at the ingredients the only herb in it is sage??? I thought from the name that it would be a mix of herbs instead of one that has been shoved in to make it a bit more interesting than plain sausage.

I thought the taste was dead plain but at the same time it's a bit too salty, it's just not very good meat and the quality is crap! Each slice has got 34 calories and a massive 2.6g fat, that's mad as well because they're proper thin slices and even if you like this cooked meat you'll be getting through waaaaaaay too much fat on your sandwich because you'd need at least 3 slices on a butty!!!

This deffo isn't the sort of cooked meat I like, I DO like meat that has got a bit of flavouring in it but the sage in this was big time nasty and I just couldn't enjoy the flavour of the meat because the sage is so strong in each bite. I also don't think the pork in this sausage is very good quality because the meat tastes a bit watery, that sounds mad because there is no water in the ingredients list and that just shows how faint the taste of the pork is.

Not recommended... not a very nice sandwich meat!
