I usually have an aversion to most tinned foods, as it's stuck in my mind-set that tinned food = unhealthy and bad for you. But recently I've been trying to cook from scratch wherever possible, and tinned foods are a handy thing to have in your store cupboard for when you don't have the time to be going out and getting fresh produce or waiting for frozen things to defrost. I purchased this to test it out and see if it's any good as a substitute for fresh mince. One 392g tin will set you back 95p, and this seemed very good value.
