Yummy But That's Expensive For 2 Small Chicken Breasts!

I had some of these Tesco Roast Boneless Chicken Breasts at my aunts the other day, I had been visiting when her fridge packed up so she just got all the stuff out and stuck it on the table for us to pick at. I'd seen these ready cooked chicken breasts in Tesco before but couldn't make myself pay the price of £3.00 for 2 shrivelled up looking pieces of chicken.... even though they do look kind of nice! lol

You can eat them hot or cold, I LOVE cold chicken so had mine after it had been out of the fridge for a few minutes to take the chill off. My aunt cooked hers and it took about 20 mins in the oven.

My cold one was delish. It was a bit dry so I cut it into bits and put some mayo over it all, I took the skin off because it had gone all crinkly and greasy feeling. It's cooked lovely and tender and you can tell the chicken is quite good quality because of how meaty it feels and tastes. It's cooked good all the way through the chicken breast and the ends aren't dry or anything. I put a bit of salt on mine because that's a habit with cold chicken but it didn't really need it anyway because it's got enough flavour of it's own.

I tried a mouth full of my aunts hot chicken and it was yummy, it tasted like fresh cooked chicken and had plumped out a bit so that the breast didn't look so shrivelled up as my cold one. It's lovely and moist when it's hot and the skin had crisped up a bit like on fresh raw chicken that you cook for yourself.

Even though this chicken was proper nice I can't see why anyone would want to pay £3.00 when the breasts are quite small and you could buy raw chicken and cook it yourself for a lot cheaper. These would be good for picnics and stuff like that I reckon but still it would be loads cheaper to buy a pack of the Tesco chicken drumsticks and cook them up because this will only do 2 people at the most and if I was feeling hungry I could eat both of these myself easy!

Recommended..... for the taste but a proper expensive way of buying chicken!!!
