Tesco brought these salmon burgers out as part of their bbq range in the summer and I love them, you only get 2 in a pack for £1.99 but they are quite big and very filling so that doesn't matter.

They cook in about 15 minutes so that's just right for a bbq when you want everything cooked as soon as possible.

The salmon is in big chunks and the batter coating the fish cake is very light and has had herbs mixed into it so it tastes more interesting than normal fishcake batter.

The salmon burgers taste a bit fishy, I don't think the taste of the salmon is overpowering but you can deffo taste that it's the main ingredient. I haven't got the box now to check but I'm sure I also tasted some white fish in there as well. The burgers have got dill, parsley and other herbs in them and I think that brings out the flavour of the salmon and yummy batter just right.

I didn't want a meat burger so I had one of these in a bun with some mayo and it was just as satisfying as a beef quarter pounder, the burger is chewy but comes apart just right in my mouth and the flavour of the salmon comes through much stronger when you've given it a good old chew! lol

I recommend these burgers for anyone who's bored of normal burgers on their bbq, these salmon ones are yummy and I say give them a try today!
