      Lovely, tasty sausages.

These are our favourite sausages. Being just the two of us buying a packet of fresh sausages is a waste as we always end up throwing some away so being able to have a bag of 20 in the freezer, just taking out what we want at a time is sooo handy. Also the price is great, only £1.30-something! That's about 7p a sausage, you can't complain at that.

The packet requires cutting with a pair of scissors as it's quite thick plastic. I always cut a thin strip straight across the top and use this to tie the neck of the packet back up for storing in the freezer.

Two sausages contain around 180 calories so is pretty good if like me you're watching what you're eating. I like to dry fry these sausages, they don't stick to my frying pan at all and cook evenly in around 20 minutes. As they're frozen I put them on low to begin, then when they're defrosted I stick a fork in the all over and turn the heat up a little.

I usually get a bit of fat run out of them so I blot them on kitchen roll before serving. They taste just as they should, like a pork sausage. There's no strange taste of anything else, just pork and they're quite firm and succulent. The outside is nice when it's a little crispy. Also, unlike some other sausages around this price you don't get any yucky hard blobs of fat inside. We enjoy these sausages in a variety of meals.
