In comparison to other brands, I actually think this means these are quite well priced as they are quite cheap, but I don't feel the quality of the product has been compromised. The sausages are a good size and thickness. I would call them quite short and fat! I tend to grill mine for health reasons, rather than fry (unless its for a good old English breakfast of course!). Obviously sausages are quite versatile in the sense that they can be used as part of a main meal, breakfast, or on a sandwich for lunch. For that reason I always make sure I have a big bag in the freezer, and our usual brand is Tescos Thick Pork Sausages. Ok, lets face it, these aren't anywhere near as flavoursome as those you would get directly from a butchers, but unfortunately the pennies are a bit tight at the moment and don't allow for little luxuries such as fresh meat, frozen will have to do us for now! These are our favourite sausages. Being just the two of us buying a packet of fresh sausages is a waste as we always end up throwing some away so being able to have a bag of 20 in the freezer, just taking out what we want at a time is sooo handy. Also the price is great, only £1.30-something! That's about 7p a sausage, you can't complain at that. The packet requires cutting with a pair of scissors as it's quite thick plastic. I always cut a thin strip straight across the top and use this to tie the neck of the packet back up for storing in the freezer.
