      ultimate burgers indeed :)

These are by far the best burgers in my opinion. They are big and do not shrink much like most other burgers do. They dont contain a ridiculously high amount of onion like other brands which is great too. You can grill them and shallow fry them. Though it doesnt actually state on the box that you can oven cook thats how I cook them and they turn out fantastic! 15-20mins each side on middle shelf of a 220c oven. They are quite thin so they cook very well unlike those thick ones that always make me worry about food poisoning haha. They go really well on cobs, and go great with mash and gravy - dont know how I came to think of this concoction haha. The taste is rather distinct as I have never tasted other burgers like it before, though I cant actually describe the taste. They sort of remind me of those really yummy ones that my primary school dinners involved. I urge you to try these as I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The words 'Ultimate Burgers' really do not give these enough justice. Best Ever I.M.O :)

      .

We bought these about 6 months ago for the first time. It wasn't for a BBQ or that, given it was around Christmas/January time then I don't think that would have been a good idea. We like to buy Burgers and cook them in the George Foreman, and I would say that Burgers are 1 of our favourite Fast Foods.

I spotted these in the freezers in Tesco. I don't think I was looking for Burgers at the time, but these caught my eye. The picture looked nice but I wondered if they were worth £2.49 for the 4 Burgers. The box looked bit enough but quite flat, and I know how much Burgers can shrink and I didn't know how big they were to start off with. We decided to buy them and have Burgers for Tea that night.

When the box was opened the Burgers appeared to be pretty big. They were also quite thick as well, and if they didn't shrink then I knew that they would hang out out Rolls buy a good bit. But I knew they would stay that size anyway.

Surprisingly they didn't take too long to cook from frozen given their size. The wife didn't keep a count on how long, but it was an ok time.

When cooked they were a bit smaller but they still filled a Bread Roll fully with a little bit hanging out the edges.

Since then we have bought these quite a few times. The Meat tastes good quality, there is a slight seasoning and although they are frozen they taste like fresh made Burgers.

      Really nice big Burger.

We spotted these about 6 months ago in the freezers in Tesco. Although they cost £2.49 for the 4 Burgers, which wasn't too bad, they looked a good enough size as the size of the box was. I felt on the box and felt that it was pretty full feeling.

The Burgers are stacked 2 high, and 2 side by side. The box is quite thin, but an alright lenght. There is a nice enough picture on the front as well of a Juicy, tasty looking Burger in a bun with all the nice filling. The burgers are in a plastic bag inside the box as well.

These look pretty big when you take them out. They are circular, and although I thought they would shrink when cooked, they didn't shrink too much. I cooked them in the George Foreman grill and struggled to get 2 in at a time. We ended up cooking the whole box the first time we got them. We were starving and had these on 2 rolls and chips each, which was really filling.

For the size of them they didn't need that much cooking. Although things seem to take a while in the George Foreman, these didn't make you wait a huge amount of time.

There was a fair amount of grease came out these onto the grease tray, and although there was a slight greasy taste to them, but not like that. You just seen it glistening on the Burger. It was tasty enough, and not a bad taste in the mouth.

These tasted a bit seasoned, and really Beefy. The meat tasted good enough quality, and not some cheaper rubbish. There wasn't any grizzly bits in these as far as I could tell, and these broke up easily enough and were tender and didn't require any chewing.

Although fresh Burgers are probably better, these are a nice tasting, filling Burger that are priced alright as well.

These Would Probably Be A Bit Nicer Done On The BBQ But I Thought They Was A Bit Boring Grilled

I brought these beef burgers a few weeks ago but then we never used them because we discovered Tesco's Finest burgers and haven't bothered with anything else. Today though we had a load of buns given us off my mums mate so I cooked these up for tea.

They're quite big but do shrink a bit while they're cooking. These burgers taste just like Birds Eye to me and are very nice but I don't know why Tesco have called them Ultimate because they're nothing special I don't think.

They're quite meaty tasting but have got the same onion taste as Birds Eye burgers and they might be a bit bigger but I actually think they've got quite a greasy flavour even though I grilled them. They've got a strong flavour and I like that about them but all they taste of is beef and onions with nothing else to give them a bit of interest.

Quite a lot of fat comes out of the burgers while they're grilling and I think that's good really because the more that comes out the less you're actually eating. There aren't any fatty or gristle bits in the burgers and they do taste like they've been made out of good quality ingredients.... as far as beef burgers go! lol

I had mine in a bun with a cheese slice, mayo and ketchup. You deffo need something to give these a bit of extra flavour I think because if you had one of these burgers plain then I reckon you'd get bored of the dry texture and plain taste after a couple of bites.

That mad thing is that these 4 frozen burgers cost £2.49!!! I know burgers aren't cheap but honestly these aren't all that and I was shocked when I found out the price of them. They're nice enough but like I said these burgers are nothing special and deffo not worth that money..... that's own brand food at MORE than Birds Eye prices!!! Mad!
