They are quite thin so they cook very well unlike those thick ones that always make me worry about food poisoning haha. They go really well on cobs, and go great with mash and gravy - dont know how I came to think of this concoction haha. The taste is rather distinct as I have never tasted other burgers like it before, though I cant actually describe the taste. They sort of remind me of those really yumm...more

Tesco Ultimate Beef Burgers: BIG, BIG BURGERS (329 words)

We spotted these about 6 months ago in the freezers in Tesco. Although they cost £2.49 for the 4 Burgers, which wasn't too bad, they looked a good enough size as the size of the box was. I felt on the box and felt that it was pretty full feeling. The Burgers are stacked 2 high, and 2 side by side. The box is quite thin, but an alright lenght. There is a nice enough picture on the front as well of a Juicy, tasty looking Burger in a bun with all the nice filling. The burgers are in a plastic bag inside the box as well. These look pretty big when you take them out. They are circular, and although I thought they would shrink when cooked, they didn't ...  Read the complete review

I brought these beef burgers a few weeks ago but then we never used them because we discovered Tesco's Finest burgers and haven't bothered with anything else. Today though we had a load of buns given us off my mums mate so I cooked these up for tea. They're quite big but do shrink a bit while they're cooking. These burgers taste just like Birds Eye to me and are very nice but I don't know why Tesco have called them Ultimate because they're nothing special I don't think. They're quite meaty tasting but have got the same onion taste as Birds Eye burgers and they might be a bit bigger but I actually think they've got quite a greasy flavour even ...  Read the complete review

We bought these about 6 months ago for the first time. It wasn't for a BBQ or that, given it was around Christmas/January time then I don't think that would have been a good idea. We like to buy Burgers and cook them in the George Foreman, and I would say that Burgers are 1 of our favourite Fast Foods. I spotted these in the freezers in Tesco. I don't think I was looking for Burgers at the time, but these caught my eye. The picture looked nice but I wondered if they were worth £2.49 for the 4 Burgers. The box looked bit enough but quite flat, and I know how much Burgers can shrink and I didn't know how big they were to start off with. We decided to buy them ...  Read the complete review

These are by far the best burgers in my opinion. They are big and do not shrink much like most other burgers do. They dont contain a ridiculously high amount of onion like other brands which is great too. You can grill them and shallow fry them. Though it doesnt actually state on the box that you can oven cook thats how I cook them and they turn out fantastic! 15-20mins each side on middle shelf of a 220c oven.
