Advantages: Cheap. Tasty. Reasonable Quality. Flexible. Great For Kids.

Disadvantages: Probably Doesn't Contain The Best Cuts Of Fish!

I have these quite regularly as my wife loves fish fingers. I must admit, I don't mind them. I'm not the biggest fan & I tend to prefer having actual fish, but these do make a decent meal & ar far cheaper.

They sell for 47p for a pack of 10 in the supermarket. They seem to be very popular where we are because they are out of stock & not available as often as you are actually able to buy them. Id estimate that they are around 8cm long & about 2cm wide by around 1cm thick.

You can grill them or fry them. We tend to have them grilled. When you grill them, the breadcrumbs do have a slight crunch to them although they can be a bit floppy when you pull them off the fish. The batter does taste nice though & has a starchy quality to it.

Considering that they probably don't use the best fish in the world (that's putting it kindly) the fish is surprisingly good. It is pretty moist, tender & has a mild flavour that doesn't impose on the taste buds & is good for kids.

I am happy to eat them as for a fish finger they aren't bad at all. Whether or not you should try them is really a matter of your taste. If you have kids it might be better offering them these fish fingers, but If you're an adult who likes to know your eating 100% fish, you might want to buy some fish fillets. A good fish finger, but fish fingers aren't for everyone.

Summary: A quick & easy way of getting fish into your meal. Worth a try
