I love all kinds of foods, cakes, biscuits, meat, anything that takes my fancy and I regularly eat fish as it is nice and healthy but sometimes it can be a little expensive, depending on what kind of variety you are wanting to buy but Tuna has always been a reasonable price in my opinion and is equally good for you too.

I love any type of fish and I always buy this product from the Tesco Value range and for 185g it is priced around 58p, the price does vary quite a bit with this item and it can sometimes be purchased for as little as 38p. Although the can and wrapper are very basic, the contents are of a very good quality.

It comes in a round can which can be opened with a can opener and it comes in the usual colours of blue and red of the lower brands of products from Tesco.

Inside the can the Tuna is in brine, which is a salt water and it can be drained to reveal the nice good sized chunks, the Tuna is a sandy colour and once drained it has a good texture to cut and eat.

It can be eaten with salad, in sandwiches or mixed with other foods for a meal or snack, it has a very good texture and the taste is very strong and the fish is a very good quality for the low price.

It is very versatile and can be used for most fish dishes and is very good value for money.

It can be used for packed lunches and picnics and for the low price it is very good for families to use, especially if you are on a budget.

Per half a can it contains, 65 calories, 0.4g fat, 0.1g saturates, 0.5g salt and a trace of sugar.

Once opened the unused contents can easily be transferred into a non metallic dish and used within 2 days and the can is recyclable

In my opinion it is a very good quality product for a very low price and I recommend it to anyone to try.
