Good idea, great range, rubbish product and poor service.

I wanted to download some family friendly audiobooks to listent to in the car on a long drive. Audible seems to have an excellent range and reasonable prices so I decided to go ahead.

Firstly in order to use their books you have to use their proprietary player. This makes the process unceccesarily complicated and adds nothing over using an ipod or other MP3 player.

Secondly when I had downloaded the player and my 2 books I discovered (about 150 miles down the road) that the system had only given me the first hour. I have no idea how to get the rest. I have raised a case with their support service, but after 3 days I have had no response (incdent no 090727-000400) .

As someone else has said the chapters work on 1 book and not the other, no idea why.

In short I would recommend looking elsewhere for your Audio books
