Advantages: instant access , good range of books, convenient

Disadvantages: returns are not free

I have read the terrible write ups Mango has had on here and have responded but felt it was time to put fingers to the keyboard and tell the other side of the Mango story.

I was happily searching one day on the net and came across a site called Mango- ahh books so quickly i clicked and arrived at the website. This was back in around february this year...it was advertising so many books for so much and a free book to boot - the catch was to buy 4 books within your first year of membership. EASY for me i read books like no tomorrow.

So i clicked away on things like Sushi for beginners and some others (can't remember them now but they were good)...he site has a little basket comes up when you have clicked so you can decide if you want to keep them or not. i chose my five books and clicked to activate my membership....within a few minutes an email had arrived confirming my new account was being dealt with and would be delivered within the 28 days.

Ok i waited and within about 3 weeks there was my courier waiting outside with my parcel - i opened it like it was christmas day and to my delight was all the books i had ordered including my free book.

Inside was club magazine too - ohh more books for me to spend hard earned pennies on and i promptly went upstairs and switched on my pc. Now mango has an internet site which is great for people like me who know what authors they like and don't like - you just click on what you want. Quite often there is a little snipet of what the book actually entails.

I know that they often have the newer books that i enjoy a lot cheaper than i could get in town as i buy them as a package. Mango has always been at the end of a phone line for me and not with premium rate calls either.

When ever i have had a query and emailed them i must admit the first response is automatic but isn't everyones? then within 24 hours i have had a detailed response to my question.

All in all i have had a good time with Mango and not had any problems - i think the only downside is you have to pay for your returns but apart from that the delivery charge is about the same as other companies on the net.

Keep up the good work Mango - and if you love modern fiction then try it out if you don't like them after you have your books cancel your account.

It's nice to hear a good experience! Mrsbrowneyedmum hasn't had any trouble either...;) Hope it's moonlight and roses all the way for you!

Yes I find they stock a lot of the more modern authors that I like...such as Marion Keyes
