I like this book club. They are efficient and helpful on the phone when you call, their internet access is good and they are very quick to respond to e-mail (mine was answered in approx. 5 mins) plus they do not automatically send you whatever they think you might want to buy. There is no obligation to buy anything at all which is very rare with most kinds of postal clubs.
They offer a great variety of books pre-school to adult, both fiction and non-fiction. Many of them are greatly reduced on the recommended price or are as part of an offer. If you shop on-line they have many extra bargains plus they can tell you whether or not the item you want is in stock.
They also do standard discounts which you qualify for if you spend more than £50 (5% disc.) this amount does increase the more you spend.
They also have in-house parties (like Ann Summers and Tupperware!!) where you can view the books and purchase any or none as you please, for these the host also gets an incentive prize and the organiser gets a commision based income. This can actually prove rather profitable!!
The web-site it very simple to navigate and if you have the brochure to hand you can just type in the items you require. There are several ways to pay but you must pay for the goods before they will despatch them which I also feel is an advantage. They do charge delivery and you have to pay for any returns you wish to make but I rarely return items anyway.
I tend to check out the book in a shop beforeI order as I am then sure but want to pay less!!
