As you may have gathered from previous reviews, I love books! I wanted to pass this love on to my daughter and so am always picking up books for her, either from the local charity shops or supermarkets but one of my favourite ways is ordering through Redhouse. WHO ARE THEY? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Redhouse is ... Read the complete review

As a child, I used to read constantly. Every time we went out, I'd have a book in my bumbag (what do you expect, I was born in the 80s!). When we stayed over at my grandparents' house, I was allowed to sit in bed reading until Grandma came up and turned the light out - she often fell asleep on the sofa and found me still reading under the lamp in ... Like the other reviewers say, Redhouse Books must be one of the top book clubs for children's books. The book prices are fantastic...much cheaper than the high street and Amazon. They also have some great box sets and sale bargains, which are great for presents. The P+P is reasonable (often free if you spend over a certain ... Read the complete review

having been a member of various book clubs, in my opinion red house is one of the best. there is no commitment - you buy however many books you want, whenever you want. the books really are cheap - unlike some clubs where you get your introductory books quite cheap, but the rest are much the same price as in the shops. ... I like this club, I've been a member for a couple of years and they offer a very wide choice of books for selection. Their latest golden nugget is Harry Potters latest for £5 - that's right £5 and it's hardback too. Most books are well known and are cheaper than the local supermarket offers. There is no obligation to buy and the ... Read the complete review

I have been a member of this book club for over 5 years, by my recknoning, and basically, I have tried the rest and this is THE best! As other dooyooer's state, you are under absolutely no obligation to buy any of their books ever again, you simply get sent a book catalogue each month - if you don't want anything, then file it ... I like this book club. They are efficient and helpful on the phone when you call, their internet access is good and they are very quick to respond to e-mail (mine was answered in approx. 5 mins) plus they do not automatically send you whatever they think you might want to buy. There is no obligation to buy anything at all which is very rare with ... Read the complete review

Unlike probably all the other book clubs around, there are no obligations to buy anything from Red House. You get your introductory package and then every month they send you their latest brochure with pages of the latest recommended books, and a few classics thrown in. Virtually all the books are reduced or 3 for the price of two etc, often with ... Read the complete review
