WH Smith is a major high street retailer that has been around for as long as I can remember and is still going strong today, in fact they seem to be also opening much larger retail units on out of town shopping centres as well as maintaininga strong prescence on the high street of most cities and towns.

Primarily they sell a wide range of books and stationary as well as magazines and newspapers. They also sell music and computer games as well and while specialist shops may offer more choice from a greater range they are still very useful for most purchases.

It is books and stationary that I probably use them for most especially when hey have a book offer on like buy two get another free type offer which can be good value as their prices are usually very reasonable.

I like the fact that they have a really good range of stationary and it is one of those places where you can always buy pen refils and they have a good selection of fountain pens as well.

Overall I find them very useful and they represent good value. The stores are well set out and the staff are very helpful.

Summary: Good retailer
