Advantages: Lots Of Stock, Large Variety, Books, Magazines, Speedy Staff (Usually)
Disadvantages: Magazines Hard To Find, Sometimes Messy
WHSmith is an excellent shop, which you can find in many towns and cities. They sell all things for the office as well as books and magazines. You can even buy music and DVDs and games in some stores.
The store has a large WHSmith sign outside, which is white on a blue background. The store is usually quite well organised apart from the magazine section where it's really hard to find the magazine you're looking for sometimes. WHSmith also sell a large range of books for young readers as well as adults. As part of this book range, you can buy things like revision guides and puzzle books too.
WHSmith stores stock a large variety of pens, pencils and different equipment for the office. They sell quality pens from Parker as well as their own makes. You can also buy things such as hole punchers, staplers and folders. It's the ideal place to visit before you're 'back to school'. You can buy a new pencil case as well as stocking up on all the ingredients such as pens, rulers, rubbers, pencils, protractors, calculators and all the rest.
The staffs in WHSmith are quite helpful but most of the time, they seem to be half asleep. They are quite speedy at the tills normally, which isn't so bad. The staffs all wear bright blue shirts so it's usually easy to spot them and there are a good number in every store. The prices aren't bad too, so overall it's a really good place to buy office equipment, books and magazines. They sell a huge range of magazines from those for sport, hobbies, games and more.
Thanks for reading,
