Night Nurse Liquid:
... Nurse Liquid This product retails for around £6 per bottle, it is also available in capsule form but I find the liquid the most effective. Night Nurse is specially designed to treat the symptoms of colds and flu. It is designed to be taken at night only. It contains Paracetamol, promethazine hydrochloride, and dextromethorphan hydro bromide as the active ingredients. A side effect of one of the ingredients ... Vicks First Defence ... first started using Vick s First Defence after I heard my stepfather raving about how effective it is. He works closely with members of the public who often go to see him even when they are sick. He was very frequently off work with colds a flu before getting his hands on this product. Now he is sick much less often and he reckons it is down to this. After this recommendation, I had to give it a go. I work with some great people, but I have to admit that some of my colleagues are very annoying, in that they ll come in to work even when they have a bad cold or flu only to spread it around and infect the rest of us. I got really tired of catching one cold after anot... Read the full review: My secret weapon against serious colds by song_of_calliope |

Vicks First Defence ... claim that their First Defence spray will kill cold germa before they develop. The big question is does it really work? Well you ll be surprised to hear that it actually does. Since I first started using it about 2 years ago, I now make sure I always have some in the house as spare. When you get the first sign of a cold coming along such as sore throat or a sniffle then you need to straight using the spray straight away. You have to spray it into your nose & you do get a slight string feeling when you apply it but this is just the spray doing it s magic. It needs to be used two or three times a day and for a few days even after the symptons have disappeared. ... Read the full review: Stops colds developing by djkunal |

Generally a little rinse with a good mouthwash and or a rinse with some salted water and the problem is resolved. However there are the odd occasions where this tried and trusted method has failed and I usually just live with the ulcers and they go away naturally. Again there are times where even this fails and I either have to retry the first method or cough up £2.30 odd for another yet tried and trusted method. As with most medicines there are several alternatives available for my uncomfortable predicament and in all fairness they probably all do a fair job, but the one I have come t...
