Tesco Non-drowsy Hayfever and Allergy Relief Tablets:
... have a pretty bad dust allergy that really annoys me, so ive tried plenty of tablets to try and relieve me of the symptoms. Some of the premium brands can be over 3 pounds for 7 pills and with allergies being a daily problem it can become very expensive. I like supermarket own brands of tablets basically because they are cheaper, I recommend everyone by them over other brands because they are mostly the same drugs... Nytol One-A-Night ... one a night contains 16 tablets and their active ingredient is 50mg of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, this drug is primarily a antihisamine ie. used to treat allergic reactions to dust, pollen etc. but the side effect of it is to sedate and therefore it is used to treat temporary sleep disturbances. You will need to ask at the chemist counter for these tablets as they regulate who they give them to. I am always asked by the assistant if they are for myself, if i have been using them for long. Karvol Decongestant ... poor little boy developed his first ever cold when he was 10 weeks old. If you have children you will know that there is nothing worse than your poor little baby being poorly and not being able to take it away from them. I was quite lucky with Rhys as he was a little soldier, he was a little bit under the weather for a couple of days but then he seemed to perk up. The only thing he then had left was a bunged up nose. This only really affected Rhys when he was feeding, as a small baby does not know to breathe through their mouth in between gulps of milk, so Rhys just tended to stop breathing and then panic!!! Syndol Pain Relief Caplets ... have just read the other reviews on here with great interest. I suffer from back/neck pain - for which I see a chiropractor - but I do have phases where the pain is so bad and so regular, that I can t manage without pain relief. I have tried all other normal pain relievers, but to no effect. The reason that Syndol is so effective for me personally, is the muscle-relaxant that they contain. It relaxes the affected muscles in my neck and usually rids me of my pain. As mentioned, my pain comes in bouts - maybe 3 months say of regular intense pain, then I ll have a few good months.
