Vicks First Defence ... First Defence by Proctor & Gamble This is a micro gel nasal spray which is designed to prevent a cold. If used at the first sign of a cold, it actually manages to prevent it occurring! So okay, I was dubious about how effective this would be. Over the years, I have tried many, many products which claim to help get over a cold, and none of those were effective. So, a product which could actually stop it happening-hmm! I am now a huge Vicks First Defence fan! It genuinely does work! Bonjela Teething Gel ... daughter has been teething now since she was 7weeks old, she is now nearly 7months and has one tooth partially come through now. I have a mixed review of this product really as there s both pro s and con s when using it. The pro s are that it helps my daughter get to sleep if she wakes in pain, and also it numbs her gums so she will stop crying for a little while. The con s are that my daughter tends to try sucking it off my fingers as i try to apply it because she likes the taste so sometimes it doesn t even reach her gums! Also when it does get to the gums, it seems to wear off very quickly so it only really helps short term which isn t great when they seem to be i... Olbas Oil ... having my first cold in months recently along with my twin boys I stocked up on all medicines and antidotes to at least try and make me feel a little normal, although I don t think I ever feel that way anyway lol! One of these many potions I picked up were Olbas Oil. Olbas Oil is an inhalant decongestant, it comes in an easily recogniseable bright orange and mint green box and it clearly tells us on the box that it is for immediate relief for catarrh, colds and sinuses.
