(Note: when I originally wrote this review, the title was given as " Anbesol Adult Strenght Gel". This has now been fixed - well done, Dooyoo - but I'll leave the wording of my review unchanged.) ======= "Strenght"? Oh dear. We sometimes ask other reviewers to take a moment to use a spellchecker on their work, so we can hardly let Dooyoo themselves get away with a howler like that one in the very category title! Right; now that's off my chest, let's move up the body a bit and consider my mouth. It's not a bad mouth, as mouths go. Tongue, lips, gums, teeth, all the usual things you find in a mouth. (Well, rather fewer teeth in ... Read the complete review

**What is it?** Anbesol Adult Strength Gel is the adult version of Anbesol which I've used successfully on my teething daughter. This adult strength gel is used for mouth blisters / ulcers, toothache (for example as caused by wisdom teeth coming through) and sore gums (say as caused by denture rubbing). **Price and Availability** Anbesol Adult Strength Gel is available widely on the high street at places like Boots and Superdrug, in most larger supermarkets and in independent chemists. Some dentists sell it and you can also buy it online though a P&P charge will usually apply. The price varies but is on average £3.99 for a ... Read the complete review

I acquired a tube of this by my mum a couple of weeks ago. I went round for tea and was complaining after every mouthful that my mouth was hurting as I had an ulcer on my tongue. Being a mum, her instant reaction was to whip out a remedy, and she gave me this so I didn't have to wait till I got home to use the Bonjela I normally use. Anbesol is designed to alleviate the symptoms and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers and wearing dentures. It comes in a small white tube with the word "Anbesol" in blue writing. I must admit when I first saw this tube, I thought she'd given me the wrong thing because when you first glance at it, it's not ... Read the complete review

A couple of years ago I came down with a particularly nasty virus. It left me with a very high fever which didn't break for a week and I guess due to my weakened immune system I came out with lots of mouth ulcers. I'm not talking 3 or 4 here, but probably around 30! My entire mouth was covered in angry red ones - the gumline, lining of my cheeks and inside my lips. As you can imagine these were extremely painful and made sleeping next to impossible. Every time the side of my head hit the pillow I would wake up in agony. Even writing about it now makes me shiver! I visited my local Boots and spoke to the pharmacist there who recommended Anbesol adult strength ... Read the complete review

When we were away for the weekend, we went walking in the Yorkshire Dales. It was windy and cold but we pretended to enjoy it. As the walk progressed, my tongue became aware of something foreign in the front corner of my mouth on the inside just beside my lip -my initial thought was that I had burned my mouth. I couldn't recall eating anything particularly hot. My wife took a look and announced that I had a mouth ulcer. She claims to be an expert in these matters, but does suffer these from time to time so I was grudgingly prepared to believe her. I'm married to her, therefore had to accept her diagnosis. She is often wrong. Anyway, although I am a Big Brave ... Read the complete review
