Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Taste horrible and does not work
Whenever I get ill or run down from working/doing too much I tend to get headaches, and so have tried a fair few pain killers to try and ease them as I like to stay active and not stuck in bed. When shopping in London I started to develop a headache so popped in to the nearest shop, which happen to be Asda, to buy some pain killers. I had very little change in my purse so when I spotted the box of Asda Dispersable Aspirin Tablets for 19p I thought I would give them ago.
The tablets come in a oblong shaped boxed which is yellow and silver in colour, with a picture of a tablet on the front with the name of the tablets on the box. The packet contents 300g of tablets, which are in two white plastic trays, which contain 8 in each tray. The tablets are foil wrapped so they are easy to push. The tablets, as with all medication, contain a pamphlet so it includes all the information you need.
The tablets are small and white; they are round and have a line indented in the centre of it. You take one or two tablets up to every four hour with water, however do not take more than 8 tablets a day. When you pop them into water they fizz up and disperse quickly with very little stirring needed, then simply drink the mixture. I hated the taste of the mixture I found it to be fairly salty, so I struggled to down a whole glass, however if it gets rid of the headache I would cope. However, I found these tablets did nothing, my headache remained, I ended up having to take some Nurofen a few hours later to get rid of it. So even though they were cheap, they taste awful and did nothing, so were a total waste of money.
Overall I would not recommend them and would advice people to spend a bit more money and get something that works.
Summary: Do not buy
