(I know there is a adults version as well but for ulsers) and personally I think it tastes disgusting banana kind of flavour but when used on my child who does not seem to mind the taste at all! I think the great thing is that you can use it whenever you need to - there is no limit on how many times aday and as you only need a small amount the tube seems to last forever and at only £2 its a really good buy! highly...more

Bonjela Teething Gel There is nothing worse than trying to calm and comfort a child who is in pain. Teething pain can be terrible for tiny babies to endure and as a parent you want to be able to stop the pain for them so that they can have a comfortable night's sleep. My little girl has just, as nearly 4 months, started to become bothered by her teeth coming in and although nothing is showing yet, we know by her dribbling, her flushed cheeks and her sharp, pained cries that they are definately on their way. I bought this in Scotland, on our recent trip to see the Grandparents, and was delighted to see it can be used from 2 months. I have always used ...  Read the complete review

I have used Bonjela for years. It comes in small 15g tubes and cost's around £2.30. I first used it when i had wisdom teeth coming through, it really eased the pain!, i have also used it for mouth ulcers! It was great when my daughter was teething, although it was difficult to get it in to her mouth as she hated the taste, but once it was on her gums, it worked very quickly! It does have a strong taste that i would liken to aniseed, and if you get it on your tongue it does make it ...  Read the complete review

Bonjela has been out for many years and i remember using this myself for ulcers and my wisdomw teeth. I really feel for babies when their teething and cant imagine what it must feel like having them all come through at once. Anyhow i noticed when i was using it and the tooth was cutting it used so sting, so i was slightly reluctant to try it on my girls. However i have 9 month old twins and for a few months now theyve been teething. I got to a point where i needed to try something so i turned to this. They seem to really love the tatse and it calms them down straight away. I also use this alongside the ashton and parsons powders. I would recommend bonjela even ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A great way to soothe sore gums (319 words)

My son is now 15 weeks old and for the past couple of weeks has been very grouchy and seems to be showing some signs of teething, so I decided to purchase some Bonjela to see if this would ease the pain in his sore gums. Bonjela is a teething gel and on the box it claims to provide fast acting soothing relief from teething pain. I purchased a 15ml tube from Boots for £2.09, it comes in a blue box with Bonjela written on the front in big white letters and the picture of a baby. The tube itself is blue with a white screw lid. I bought the sugar free Bonjela, this can be used for babies from 2 months upwards. The gel itself is cream in colour and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bonjela Teething Gel: Not my preferred choice (200 words)

When our baby began teething we promptly bought both Bonjela and Calgel teething gels to ease his gums. Although very receptive to the taste of the Calgel teething gel, he soon began clamping his mouth shut when presented with the Bonjela. I recently had a wisdom tooth breaking through my gum and took the opportunity to try out both teething gels. I found that the Bonjela made the area sting for a while before numbing it. The Calgel did not. I can only presume that this is the reason our son does not let it near his teething gums. Bonjela teething gel is packaged inside a blue box depicting the brand name in white lettering and a picture of a small ...  Read the complete review
