Pro's and Con's (Bonjela Teething Gel)

Advantages: short term pain relief

Disadvantages: doesn't last very long

My daughter has been teething now since she was 7weeks old, she is now nearly 7months and has one tooth partially come through now.
I have a mixed review of this product really as there's both pro's and con's when using it.
The pro's are that it helps my daughter get to sleep if she wakes in pain, and also it numbs her gums so she will stop crying for a little while.
The con's are that my daughter tends to try sucking it off my fingers as i try to apply it because she likes the taste so sometimes it doesn't even reach her gums! Also when it does get to the gums, it seems to wear off very quickly so it only really helps short term which isn't great when they seem to be in constant pain.
Overall this product is better for older children that can handle the pain of teething better and know not to try to eat it all!
