I have tried various methods to ease the pain of teething for my children and found that Bonjela for babies is the best!
Its a small tube at roughly £2 from any chemist or pharmacy that contains a sugar free cool soothing gel and it numbs the area when its carefully rubbed into gums/ teeth and this eases the pain!
I have tried it myself - as you do! (I know there is a adults version as well but for ulsers) and personally I think it tastes disgusting banana kind of flavour but when used on my child who does not seem to mind the taste at all!
I think the great thing is that you can use it whenever you need to - there is no limit on how many times aday and as you only need a small amount the tube seems to last forever and at only £2 its a really good buy! highly recommended.

Summary: small tube lasts forever
