Advantages: Soothing, Restores Faith in your abilities

Disadvantages: Some children don't like the taste of aniseed.

Being a new father and not having the maternal instincts that my wife has, I can only thank the manufacturers of Bonjela. My son's bottom teeth came through without much of a problem but the top one's have been troubling him no end.

My wife works part time as a Waitress and I look after my son when she works at night. I thought I was coping well until he started teething. I could not comfort him as well as my wife and I was beginning to wonder if I was doing something wrong, until a friend at work recommended "Bonjela".

I bought some and have become the relaxed father I was before the teething started. I have found that putting some on the top (or the bottom) of his dummy works very well as the sucking helps massage it into his gums soothing him almost instantly.

The added benefit is that it can also be used by us adults for ulsers. This, to me, is just an added bonus to a wonderful product.
