Every time I have a sore throat or a cough this is always the medicine that I take above everything else. It seems to help every single time and makes my throat feel a lot better.

This is a liquid medicine that, although it doesn't completely get rid of sore throats and coughs, it does relive the pain a lot and seems to moisturise your throat.

The medicine looks quite appealing, which is unusual for any type of medicine, and has a golden brown honey colour. The taste is probably quite an acquired one that I didn't particularly like at first but now I'm used to it and it's actually pretty nice now. The taste is a mixture of bitter and sweet - the bitter taste comes from the lemon which gives it quite a sharp tang, but the honey also makes it very sweet and is what makes the flavour a lot nicer.

I usually take two 5ml spoonfuls (the recommended dose for adults) in the morning and two more at night and this seems to keep any pain or soreness away for the whole day and through the night. This should really be kept in the fridge as it makes the liquid lovely and cold which helps towards soothing a sore throat even more.

This liquid medicine is sold in most places such as supermarkets and pharmacies and they're all roughly around the same price of £1.50. I've tried a few different shop brands of them and they all do exactly the same job and taste exactly the same so none is really better than another.

I always make sure I have a bottle of this in the fridge for when I get a sore throat as it always relieves any pain really nicely for me.
