Advantages: Easy to swallow
Disadvantages: Didn't stop my runny nose
The weather so far this year has been pretty lovely by British standards but i'm already suffering with a runny nose, sore, watery eyes and a bad throat thanks to hayfever!
Tablets to combat hayfever are so pricey that i decided to try these Boots one as they were on a buy one get one free offer. They say they are fast acting for hayfever relief and also can be used to help with skin allergies, dust allergies and pet allergies. I can't comment on their effectiveness for the latter three unfortunately but it says for hayfever relief to take one tablet per day with water.
They are really small tablets so should be ok for anyone that has any difficulty swallowing pills.
I did notice a distinct different than without using the pills. My throat felt a lot clearer and my eyes weren't so sore although i did still get a runny nose - less sneezing thankfully though!
I would definitely recommend these as opposed to other branded hayfever relief tablets as they are cheaper - particularly on their special offers! I can't remember the price (i'm pretty useless at price checking - i tend to just pick things up without looking!) but i got a buy one get one free offer at Boots although eve without the offer they are significantly cheaper than other Brands i have tried.
Summary: Buy these instead of a more expensive brand

- 19/06/09 The majority of Boots own brand medicines are exactly the same ingredient wise as the more expensive branded product so I always check Boots own out first. Great review. |

- 19/06/09 They are £2.69 for 7 tablets and you get 8 points on your advantage card for them. It's on the Boots website. |
