Boots Non Drowsy Hayfever & Allergy Relief ... are they? Medicinal tablets for treating hafever. What do they do? These tablets contain 10mg of the antihistamine Loratadine. These claim to help relieve the symptoms of hayfever , e.g. sneezing, runny nose, burning and itchy eyes. The tablets can also be used against allergies relating to pets, house dust mites, ras, itching and hives. These tablets also claim to be non-drowsy. How do I use them? These are only for oral consumption. One tablet to be taken daily at the first sign of allergic symptoms. The tablets are very small, almost pip-sized and are very easy to take and swallow. Boots Non Drowsy Hayfever & Allergy Relief ... have had mild hayfever for the past couple of years, but this summer (if you can call it that), it has been particularly bad. I would still describe it as mild compared to how some people get it, but I ve been suffering with streaming eyes and nose as well as sneezing fits when I get anywhere near a flower. Browsing the shelves at Boots, I noticed that their hayfever remedies were on a buy one get one free offer, so I picked up a couple of boxes. ~About the product~ Boots sell two own brand hayfever remedies - a regular one, which comes in an orange box, and a non-drowsy version which comes in a blue box. Boots Cold and Flu Relief Tablets ... have recently been suffering with a very nasty sore throat and blocked, stuffy nose and can t really sleep at night and as my cough sweets are only slightly helping I decided it was time to step things up a bit and get some Lemsip cold and flu tablets. I popped into Boots on Friday night on my way home from work to find them and imagine my surprise to see that they were £3.99 for 16 tablets when the Boots version of cold and relief tablets were only £1.98 for 16 tablets!! I m not one to usually buy the store brand/cheaper product but since this cold may be with me a while I thought this may get expensive!
