Just a tip that has worked for me.

If your baby is due to go to the doctors to have their injections, try giving them some Calpol 1-2 hours before they go. This settles them down and the ordeal is less traumatic.

Then at bed time give them some more to get them through the night.

I found that my second baby wasn't as tetchy as my first one because of this. The side effects of injections can often last a couple of days but I found the Calpol helped them get through it far better.
