Since starting uni, I have been exposed to so many icky germs and viruses. Tthe nurse doesn't seem to like giving out prescriptions, I thought I'd try an over-the-counter remedy to stop myself feeling so ill. In the past month, I have been suffering from an itchy, dry and very annoying cough. It has been disrupting my sleep - or rather preventing me from getting any - so I decided to try Cough Nurse, which claims to 'relieve night-time dry, tickly coughs'. I bought mine from a Tesco pharmacy for just under £5. It seemed a lot, but worth it if it was going to help me sleep! When you have a horribly tickly cough that you know will stop you from getting to sleep soundly at night, Night Nurse cough liquid is the best solution! If you are over 12 that is, as it isn't to be taken by anybody under 12. It is green, which could put some people off.. But it tastes a little bit like Buttercup Syrup, which i love, so i'm sure you'll be willing to try it. It really does relieve your dry throat and it stops you from having to clear your throat all night. This does wonders on the quality of sleep too..
