Advantages: slim
Disadvantages: expensive
I found a packet of these in the first aid kit bought them last year when I had a blister on my foot and about to go on a walking holiday. They cost £3.50 p for a packet of 5. These plasters are supposed to promote the healing of blisters the hydrocolloid dressing absorbs moisture to encourage that rapid healing The plaster protects the damaged skin against further rubbing and protects it from dirt and bacterior. The dressing has a strong hypoallergenic adhesive so the plaster stays in place .the plaster is very slim and waterproof. When I needed it I found it easy to apply and comfortable to wear I think my blister may have healed quicker for it. An ordinary first aid plaster would probably have stopped the rubbing, but these are slimmer more comfortable and I think it got better quicker. I would certainly use one again. The pack contains 5 small sterile plasters quite expensive. But I needed something to ease my blister n a walking holiday. Thanks for reading Mary
