Elastoplast Plasters Aqua Protect: Sticky plaster (452 words)

Rating:

Plasters are one of the things I always have in my medicine box and in my handbag , we used to call them sticky plasters when we were little kids as they stuck you back together after a cut but these were the ordinary flesh coloured plasters that we used when little and the plasters of today are more advanced than these old versions. The one's I buy know are Elastoplast Plasters Aqua Protect as they are great for when you have to do kitchen work, as you don't have to take them off when washing up. These are waterproof and stay on in the water not like the plasters of old that would absorb the water then fall off, these stay on and they are also see through so ...  Read the complete review

Elastoplast - the only way for plasters! (444 words)

I have been buying Elastoplast for years and when I require a plaster, I really don't think to look elsewhere. Before when I have swapped to supermarket brands for example they have provided me with a plaster that tends to not stay where I placed it, as it simply is not sticky enough!! I currently have the fabric roll and these plasters and think they really are a must have product - in the handbag, for nights out, in the car, at work and in the home generally! The product --> Elastoplast are always innovating their products, and that is exactly the same here. The aqua protect plasters are thin and invisible - making them especially great for wearing with ...  Read the complete review

Elastoplast Plasters Aqua Protect: Ouch!!! (460 words)

When I cut my hand a few weeks ago I needed a plaster just to stop it bleeding and keep the germs out a bit, not because it was a majorly big cut or anything. The only chemist we've got in walking distance is a small independent one and they've not got room in the shop for many different choices of things. I paid about £2.50 for this pack of 20 plasters, there are 3 different sizes in the box and they are all individually wrapped to keep them clean while you're storing them in the medicine cabinet or wherever you keep your plasters. I went for the Aqua Protect one because looking after my 2 year old sister all day means I've got my hands in water a ...  Read the complete review

Best plasters I have tried (433 words)

When I picked up these plasters it had been quite a while since I'd used any, probably a couple of years, so I was completely unaware of the latest advances in plaster technology, and was expecting them to be just as rubbish as every plaster I'd used before. I anticipated having to change plaster every couple of ours as they stopped sticking, and I expected them to be stiff as waterproof plasters always used to be, and uncomfortable. I was looking for plasters for one of my big toes (won't go into any more detail to protect the squeamish) and was pleased to see that this pack featured two fairly large sizes - 12 (25 x 72 mm) and 8 (39 x 39 mm), and that I ...  Read the complete review
