Well every now and again my monthly period brings me misery and nausea; I end up dizzy, feeling sick and have cramps plus a migraine and I want to curl up in bed despite having to get to work and doing the usual daily jobs. Most of the time I can get by with a few ibuprofen or mix them with paracetamol but sometimes these just don't seem to be strong enough. Feeling sorry for me my partner came back with these Feminax Express tablets apparently especially designed for period pain. These tablets come in a box of 16 and were bought from Boots at £3.59; I find this price rather high and would not have bought them myself to try at this as I am quite tight ... Since I started my periods at 12, I have been getting the very heavy ever since. When I turned 16, it became even worse and sometimes I would find myself rolling the floor crying at the pain of my periods. For any men reading this, period pains are those awful cramps that we get once a month in the womb because we are woman are you must just get it too easy. My period pains were much different from other girls because they would just give a whine and a moan. Wheras, I would actually start screaming in the middle of the classroom because my muscles were tightening to the extent that I could not longer handle it. I used to take paracetamol upon paracetamol and ... Read the complete review

Period pain can be a horrible thing to live with and something that can crop up far too often in the daily lives of women. Some women are lucky enough to escape the symptoms and then there are the women cursed with extreme symptoms. Unfortunately, I fall in with the later. From the age of 10, I suffered with extreme pain for three weeks of the month, every month. I tried every remedy that the doctor could give me, returning month after month to try the next form of medication. I ended up burning my stomach from all the tablets that I needed to take. The pain would make me physically sick and unable to stand up straight, with intense cramps in my stomach and ... Read the complete review

Feminax Express For some reason lasts month's timely visit was much more painful than it usually is and my husband went out to get me supplies, something nice for my supper and he picked up these Feminax Express tablets. Usually I never buy these products instead preferring to rely upon plain old ibuprofen tablets from the supermarket. However, now I am a converted fan of these. The active ingredient in these tablets is ibuprofen lysine, which differs from ibuprofen by being absorbed into the body faster (of course that is just a very layman's description). I would have to agree with this, in my experience I did notice that these ... Read the complete review

I suffer from PCOS amongst other things and this means that when I have a period I suffer with terrible cramps that can be so uncomfortable I cannot concentrate at work and don't want to talk to anyone or be sociable and then a lady in the feminine hygiene aisle in my local supermarket recommend these because they were on offer with 16's down from £3.87 to £2.00 so I decided to give them a try and see whether they were worth the higher price or not. The packaging is pink and it shows the silhouette of a woman and when I threw them on the side at home my fiancé commented on how you could tell they were tablets for a lady instantly and this makes them quite easy ...
