Advantages: Dulls and gets rid of period pain

Disadvantages: Can take a while to get to work sometimes

I have suffered from menstrual cramps during my period for years now, and no amount of paracetomol or Ibuprofen has had any real effect. Because of this, I was quite sceptical as to whether this would work either, but after seeing an advert on the television, I decided to try it anyway.

The product contains Naproxen, which is quite a strong painkiller. When you first take it, you can take up to two tablets, but after that, you can only take one tablet every six to nine hours. Each pack contains 9 tablets, which I usually find lasts for three periods, as I rarely need to take more than three tablets per period. Considering the fact that I would take 3-4 paracetomol or Ibuprofen tablets every day of my period before discovering this product, you can understand the difference that Feminax Ultra has made to my life!

I tend to find that the first tablet(s) only dull the pain - even if I take the recommended two tablets when the pain first strikes. I will often go back to bed at this point, and the pain is much less intense when I wake up a couple of hours later. It usually then disappears without me needing to take a second tablet that day. All in all, I probably take two tablets per period (both on the first day), but this will differ depending on your cycle.

For any woman who suffers from considerable menstrual pain, I would recommend trying out Feminax Ultra. I was convinced that nothing would work for me, but I was very pleasantly surprised that this actually did!

Summary: Try this if paracetomol and Ibuprofen have no effect
