Infacol Colic Drops After bringing home a new baby and bring up the first few nights with this small little human crying its little heart out a friend of mine suggested I buy in some of this stuff pronto as it saw her through the first few months of her little boy’s life. As she spoke of it like some sort of magic potion I sent out my boyfriend to buy a couple of bottles as stock piling is my middle name. I cost around £4 from the chemist but all I can say is it was worth every penny of his money! This Infacol can be used from birth, as it is a natural product with no sweeteners or anything in it that babies could be allergic to. ... Read the complete review

Infocol is a liquid solution formulated to relieve wind, infant colic and griping pain. It can be used from birth, and is given via a dropper inside the bottle. This medicine is categorised as an antiflatulent, the active ingredient in this medicine is Simeticone. It works by trapping the small gas bubbles together that are in your baby's tummy,this forms larger gas bubbles which baby can bring up as wind. Any parents to be reading this, please learn from my mistake, before your new baby arrives go and buy a bottle of infacol. The price in Boots and Tesco is £3.59 for a 50ml bottle. I didn't have any and it lead to my partner having to go out at 2.30 am to ... Read the complete review

~~~~~~~~~~~ INTRODUCTION ~~~~~~~~~~~ The birth of our son a little over a month ago has re-acquainted us with the energy-sapping delights of disturbed sleep, especially as the poor little man is suffering from relatively bad wind and colic. After toughing it out for a few nights of zombie-like walking the halls with poppet on shoulder and rhythmically patting his back, vainly hoping to produce a hearty and enthusiastic burp, we decided we needed to try something different to ease his discomfort. Having travelled this road - albeit less severely - with our daughter four years earlier, we rummaged through our cavernous medicine cabinet in ... Read the complete review
Infacol is a liquid medication designed to relieve wind, griping pains and even colic in small babies, it can be used from birth which is unusual for any medicine and it is administered via a dropper that is inside the lid of the bottle. It works apparently by bringing together all the small bubbles that form inside the baby's stomach and gelling them into bigger bubbles that the little one can then bring up as wind. I am no doctor but this seems like a plausible explanation to me and I know the stuff definitely works so I am happy with that. This was not around back in the day when my own kids were small but I have used it with all my grandkids ... Read the complete review
This stuff was the saviour of my early mummy days! My daughter suffered with terrible colic from an early age, which developed into reflux later on. Infacol helped with both! It is based on the traditonal "sugar in water" concept for relieving colic and is very sugary to taste (I know, I did it). It has an orange flavour to it and went down reasonably well with my daughter. The good thing with this is that you can buy it from the supermarket or even some garage shops, so there is no need to have to trek to the nearest chemist. It costs around £3 a bottle, but the bottle lasts a while. The downside with this particular colic ... Read the complete review
