Advantages: helps relieve your little ones pains and gets you a good nights sleep.
Disadvantages: ?
Infacol is a liquid medication designed to relieve wind, griping pains and even colic in small babies, it can be used from birth which is unusual for any medicine and it is administered via a dropper that is inside the lid of the bottle.
It works apparently by bringing together all the small bubbles that form inside the baby's stomach and gelling them into bigger bubbles that the little one can then bring up as wind. I am no doctor but this seems like a plausible explanation to me and I know the stuff definitely works so I am happy with that.
This was not around back in the day when my own kids were small but I have used it with all my grandkids (well the ones that needed it anyway) and it really does work wonders.
Two of my grandkids just needed it for regular wind pains but my youngest granddaughter had bad colic and any parent that has gone through the sleepless nights of colic will know that it is not only a relief for the child but for the parents too.
Nothing would settle my granddaughter and as I was watching her two nights a week it meant that I was ever so thankful to Infacol for soothing her pains and letting me get a sleep.
It costs around £3.50 for a 50ml bottle and whilst this might seem a bit expensive it is a very small price to pay for a good night's sleep and more importantly to know that you have relieved a little ones pain.
To start with you should give the baby one dropper full of the liquid but after you have been using it for a while you can up the dose to two droppers, you can continue to use Infacol for several weeks but if it goes on much longer than a couple of months and the wind or colic problems have not eased then you should seek medical advice.
If you have a small baby suffering from wind related problems then get yourself a bottle of Infacol and watch them ease in front of your eyes!
Summary: Relieve tots torment and adults agony in one dropper!
