I discovered Karvol Decongestant Drops after using the capsules. My son had been teething for about 8 weeks solid but he was full up with a cold and a nasty cough and struggling to sleep at night. I had used quite a few boxes of the capsules and when i was at the shop buying more i spotted the drops and thought that price wise they would be more economical.
The drops are not suitable to be used on babies under 3 months old. The drops can be used to relieve nasal congestion blocked noses and colds on children over 3 months and adults.

Directions for use
It is recommended that for babies over 3 months and young children that 6 drops be put onto a hankie and then secured near the child but out of reach. When i use this for my son who is 20 months i always put three drops directly onto his bed sheets under neath his pillow and this always helps him.
For older children and adults 6 drops can be placed onto the bedding or again on a hankie or tissue. An alternative way to use them is to put drops into a pint of hot water and let the vapours fill the room.

Karvol contains a variety of natural vapour products that include cinnamon, pine oil and menthol.

These drops come packaged in a blue box with the Karvol name in white across the box. The actual bottle that contain the drops is a glass brown bottle and has a screw on white lid. The drops dispense through an easy pour filter fitted in the neck of the bottle. There are 12 mls of product in the bottle.

Karvol drops have a very strong and distinctive smell and should not be placed directly in the mouth or nose.

Summary: an excellent product to use if your all stuffed up
