I have recently been at my wits end with my baby. Every tooth that comes through seems to cause her so much worry and pain. Recently her third tooth was trying to make its appearance but poor little Emily was in agony. During the day I could comfort her but at night it was a different story. Night after night she would wake up screaming and screaming. I tried all the usual from nappy changes, an extra feed to just plain simple cuddles. Nothing was working, not even trusted Calpol. Sometimes the crying would last for five hours and after a week of this I was at my wits end. I took her to the doctor to see if there was anything stronger he could ... Read the complete review

I first used medised when my son was about a year old and was feeling really rough with a cold, high temp etc.I had tried using calpol but it didn't really have the effect I wanted. After just 1 spoonful of this wonderful medicine and he was a differant child. The temp went down, hisnose unblocked a little and his cough wasn't as bad.It really did work wonders!!! I always make sure i have a bottle in the cabinet now.But be warned you can not use calpol too as medised contains paracetamol!!!! ... Read the complete review

We’ve all seen them and shuddered, many of us are proud owners of them, but now is the time to get rid of them!!! I am of course talking about kids with a permanent ‘number 11’ on their top lip through the winter months!! I have recently found what I think is a wonder medicine for kids colds.......Medised Cold relief for Children, for ages 1 to 12 years. It is an opaaque white liquid containing paracetamol 120mg the same as Calpol, and promethazine hydrochloride 1.5mg in each 5ml spoonful. The dosage is the same as for calpol, being two 5ml spoons for 1-6 year olds, this dosage can be repeated four hourly if needed, but no ... Read the complete review

A nurse friend, who has 2 children, recommended me Medised when my eldest son was teething. That was enough for me to go and get some for him. Medised comes for infant and for toddler, sugar free or not. It is a cold relief sirop but is also great to ease the teething pains and to drop fever down. I used it for all the above reasons and have been calling it the Magic Potion ever since. It does the job, gets the pain away and makes the baby sleep. Though, Ican go a buy 10 bottles of Calpol in one go and nobody behind the counter will bat an eyelid, but each and every time I go and get some Medised I get the same comment which is: 'do you ... Medised cold relief is excellent, it helps relieve pain, fever and colds. This is now a medicine cupboard essential in our house. i have never had calpol in the house since first using this product. All medised variants contain two active ingredients, one to relieve pain, fever and soothe a sore throat, and another to dry up runny noses and ease breathing, which helps with a restful sleep. I tried it for my little boy when he had a bad cold, which was stopping him from sleeping. It worked an absolute treat. i also discovered that it is very useful when your child has chickenpox. Mine had it just befoe he was one, and was told there was nothing I could do ... Read the complete review
