Just before christmas i managed to get the flu for the first time this winter, i am not exagerating it was not a cold but full blown flu that saw me stuck in bed for days feeling very ill and still suffering the after effects of a chest infection now.

I had tryed all the usual items i use cold and flu capsules along with cough mixture and vicks before going to bed but was still not managing to get much sleep, my temperature was very high causing a very painful headache, my nose was blocked and was starting to turn into a sinus infection which i am prone to anyway and i constantly coughed waking my self up aswell as the rest of our house.

The remedies i was using obviously wasnt working and i didnt feel well enough to go out so sent hubby to the local shop to see what they had, it is only a small post office so there wasnt a lot of selection so he returned with this having payed £4.99 for it, i was a little sceptical about it as i had never tryed it before.

On the night time before going to bed i took the required dose and got settled back into bed, within half an hour i was feeling very dopey and wanting to fall to sleep, my temperature had began to decrease and my coughing had settled down a lot although not stopped completely, due to my temperature reducing my body had also stopped feeling so cold and shivering, i got my head down and that was that, the next thing i new it was light out side, i had coughed a bit during the night according to hubby but hadnt woken myself up so got a good nights sleep, i was feeling a lot better, my temperature went back up during the day which i used cold and flu capsules to control but used this to get a good nights sleep, it was my miracle cure.

Although this says night nurse on the bottle i cannot stress strongly enough the fact that you cant take this during the day as it makey you feel very woozey i felt light heded and my legs felt wobbly after taking it so only use it at night once on your way to bed.

Summary: a great remedy i will be using again
