Nytol one a night. When I work night duty I have terrible difficulties sleeping during the day and most days I only get about 2 hours sleep which is not very helpful when you need your wits about you during the night. Having to work 7 x 12 hour shifts over a week after about three days it really makes you quite miserable due to lack of sleep and although it is possible to turn on a smiley face at work it tends to leave you with a thumper of a headache due to tiredness. Not only that during down time or when you are having to write reports and things it is so easy to drift off as you are writing your reports whilst waiting for the oh so slow NHS computers to ... **Why Nytol One-A-Night?** I have a (very nearly) 2 year old daughter, and find it no problem to feel shattered most of the time! In fact, usually, I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. But when my daughter goes for a night or two at my mum's or mother in laws, I find that I can't get to sleep at night, maybe because I haven't followed the same routine, or been running around after her all day. Then when I do get to sleep I can tell it's not a good quality of sleep, because I have very vivid and long dreams / nightmares, which means I'm not ever getting out of the REM (Rapid Eye Movement, or 'dream stage') of sleep, and into the proper deep sleep we ... I used to work in a pharmacy so I am rather well informed about the products out there which help people sleep. Trouble sleeping affects a huge amount of people and with my boyfriend working shifts he is certainly one of them! My purchase of Nytol one a night, however came when I recently started a new job and was having trouble dozing off at night.I am one of these people who worry that I'm not getting enough sleep, then I end up not getting to sleep due to this worry (silly I know). ~ ~ ~ Price and Pack size ~ ~ ~ I popped into my local pharmacy and purchased myself a packet of these tablets. They cost me £4.79 for a pack of 16 - this is the ... Read the complete review

A few months ago I became really quite ill. I started off with a really bad throat infection, everytime I ate or drank it felt like my throat was on fire. This then turned into a chest infection. Because I was quite down in the dumps at the same time I just didnt seem to be getting any better and ended up with migranes and was generally in a lot of pain. I was really struggling to get any sleep as it felt like an elephant was tap dancing on my head and chest and feeding me razor blades. Without sleep I was getting worse and worse and so the list went on. I went to the chemist and they suggested that Nytol one-a-night tablets may aide me in getting a good nights rest. ... I often have problems sleeping, and whilst it's not always a big problem, it sometimes means I end up going to work a 12 hour shift having had no sleep at all. So, getting a little fed up with it, I decided to try these tablets. They cost £4.89 for 16 tablets in Boots. These are classed as a pharmacy medicine, so you can only buy them over the counter at chemists, not straight off the shelves. These are antihistamine tablets which cause sleepiness or drowsiness and are used to help relieve temporary sleeping difficulties. They are suitable for use by adults and children over 16 years. It also states on the pack that this is only suitable for occasional use and ... Read the complete review
