Nytol One-A-Night Reviews

My 19 year old son and I suffer with insomnia and both tried Nytol One-a-Night on different occasions. Never again - the 'itchy feet' side effect completely ruled out sleep for both of us and actually added to the already extreme frustration of sleeplessness. I'm astonished that there is no warning of this on the packaging.

Nytol one a night contains 16 tablets and their active ingredient is 50mg of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, this drug is primarily a antihisamine ie. used to treat allergic reactions to dust, pollen etc. but the side effect of it is to sedate and therefore it is used to treat temporary sleep disturbances. I bought these Nytol tablets as I always have trouble sleeping - as soon as I go to bed I seem to 'wake up'. well, it does help. I have insomnia, I find it near impossible to sleep before 4am, and have not gone to sleep before 3 am in the past 4 years. I took this about 6 years ago and at the time, it did help me settle and I was able to sleep.
