Olbas inhaler is one of those products that you will wonder how u got through illness without it once you give it a try. The Olbas inhaler is a fantastic product which is extremely effective at unblocking blocked noses and sinuses and comes in a small plastic tube with a cover which adorns the brand and some information on how to use it. The inner tube contains olbas oil which has a really strong smell and seems to contain a chemical which opens up your nasal passages. It leaves a really cool sensation in your nose and you can feel it getting to work straight away. I find that the most effective way to use it when your bunged up is to place the tube ... Now I don't know for a fact if the smoking has anything to do with it but I have been having difficulty lately clearing my nasal passages, so I was on the look out for something which might aid the rather discomforting situation. There are literally hundreds of so called remedies for nasal congestion and in the past I have found only a few to be of any lasting help. Vick is an obvious choice but my wife had recently used the Olbas oil and mentioned that they also had an inhaler out which might solve my little problem. I parted with my £1.99 to the lovely assistant at Boots, and continued my shopping. It was sometime later that I happened to remember my ... Read the complete review

After the on-set of a cold has materialised, I find my self trying anything and everything to cure or at least speed up the recovery from Man-flu, it is after all one of the worst illnesses to have in the world! After getting through an entire box of tissues, I was looking everywhere for an answer and found Olbas oil and the Olbas inhaler. I must admit I was new to this brand but it had been recommended to me by several different people so I decided to give it a try. I bought the Olbas Inhaler and at first unfortunately I was slightly disappointed with it. The fact that my Cold had blocked up my nasal passages and hindered my scent of smell prevented me ... Olbas Oil was developed in Switzerland over 100 years ago as remedy for a variety of illnesses but was primarily developed as a decongestant and an aid to breathing. The oil is itself a proprietary blend of four naturally occuring essential oils. The label gives the composition as being 20% Cajuput Oil (which is apparently obtained from the leaves of a tree called the myrtaceous tree which grows in Australia), 20% Eucalyptus Oil, 40% Levomenthol and 20% Peppermint Oil. Such detail probably doesn't mean too much to you but suffice to say that the resulting mixture provides a wonderfully warming and soothing smell which cuts through any nasal congestion really ... It's that time of year again - cold season. It came around quickly didn't it? I'm prone to picking up viruses, generally getting about three or four a year. I have a seriously pathetic nose, which is so small I can hardly breathe at the best of times, coupled with a delightful dose of allergic rhinitis which just keeps it at an attractive level of blocked for most of the time. It's usually just about bearable with the help of tissues, but when I get a hint of a virus or something that triggers the old rhinitis there's no hope. It was at "virus time" that I decided I needed something on top of all of the flu medication and strepsils to help clear my ... Read the complete review
