Superb Smelly Stick. (Olbas Inhaler)

Advantages: relieves blocked noses at a low price

When we were on holiday recently, my daughter had the sniffles which is just typical, time of school and she feels ill, so I decided to pick one of these up from the shop for her.

The olbas inhaler is small in size, about 3 inches big and about as wide as your finger. The lid screws off to reveal the actual olbas stick that is white and smooth with a couple of small holes at the top allowing you to smell the vapours from the material inside. (inside is a fair amount of compressed cotton wool with powerful olbas vapours on that you sniff without having to touch.)

The idea is that you put this just inside your nostril and smell it to clear your nose and try to relieve the blocked feeling. It does work very well and my daughter felt a lot better after using it. She said when she smelt it, she could taste it at the back of her throat and it made her breathing feel more clear as well which she quite liked. It did relieve her of a blocked nose, but it doesn't cure it and you do need to use it frequently.

She has still got the one from off holiday after four weeks and still uses it occasionally to get rid of her hayfever symptom of the blocked nose, so it has lasted very well. I only paid 99p for the stick from Lidl although it is more expensive in boots and asda, about £1.50, but it is definitely worth the money because it does relieve that stuffy feeling without having to dip your fingers in oily vicks anymore.
