Advantages: Fairly cheap, simple to use, no drugs involved

Disadvantages: Can stain fabric if applied onto it and smells horrible

Olbas Oil is great, I brought some last christmas after a friend told me to try some when I had a cold and although I didnt want to as I hated the smell of this ages ago I thought I would give it ago as my cold was really bad.

I went and got a bottle from my local Wilkinsons and it cost me around £2, it comes in a small box that is orange and green with a bottle in the box that is small and made of brown glass.

When I got home I got a tissue and used it right away, instantly I felt my nose clear although it took a few sniffs of Olbas Oil it was working and after a few more sniffs it had cleared my nose almost comletely and I was able to breathe easily again through my nose.

I didnt like the smell but it was either that or a blocked nose and I know which one I would rather put up with and that was the smell.

I put some on my pillow each night before bed as well and after afew nights my cold had cleared, I have still got the same bottle and have since used it 3 times and its still almost full, it lasts ages.
The only thing I dont like is I cant get the smell of it out of my pillow and it appears it has stained it, so what I do now is use an old pillow case while when I use this.

You have to be very careful not to get it near or in your eyes as my friend did and needed eye srops from her GP to clear them up as they were sore and red for ages.

A really good product for clearing blocked noses.

I also find this great when my hay fever is really bad.
