Hands up if you've ever experienced an infected tooth nerve? For those of you that have, I know you understand my experience and this review all too well. For those that haven't, let me try and explain... Imagine a searing, throbbing, agonising pain. Imagine it building in intensity every time you swallow, smile, chew, or move your head. Imagine being kicked in the manly/womanly/delete as appropriate parts. Then times it by one hundred. Then imagine your exhausted relief to find a small tube of magic that takes it all away for a few seconds - this, my friends, is Orajel Extra Strength. What kind of packaging does this blissful tube come in? ... Read the complete review

There are few pains worse than raging toothache. I have been suffering raging toothache and I don't like it. We had nothing suitable to treat it in the house other than whisky so whilst out and about on Saturday I bought some of this Orajel, a product I had never previously tried. It comes in two strengths. It is Benzocaine, a popular anaesthetic and you can get 10% w/v or 20%, the latter being the stronger of course. Eventually the pain would settle, and I'd go about my daily activities only to be confronted with the same scenario a few months later. At the time, ibruprofen was the only form of pain relief I was using, and though it aided in easing the throat pain that the teeth caused, it did nothing to help the pain felt in the actual area the roots were pushing through. After a sleepless and particularly painful night, i decided enough was enough, and took a trip to my local pharmacy to see ... Read the complete review

ORAJEL EXTRA STRENGTH ***THE PRODUCT AND PRICE*** Orajel comes packaged in a small box and inside you will find the tiniest of tubes, with a screw lid. It is a small white tube with black writing on and each tube contains 5.3g of the product. Orajel is suitable for use for adults and children over the age of 12 years, On the tube is advises that you can use it up to 4 times daily and that is contains benzocaine 20% w/w. Orajel is a medicine that is deigned to temporarily reduce the pain of toothache, it is not meant to cure the problem, just long enough until you get to the dentist! ** Packaging ** The Orajel box is bright yellow so really hard to miss, on the front of the box it states 'Rapid relief of toothache' followed by extra strength. On the back of the box there are instructions, the product is only suitable for persons aged 12 and over. There are also direction on how to apply On the bottom of the box is the expiry date and its contents, contents include: Polyethylene glycol, Sodium Saccharin (E954), Sorbic ...
