Tyrozets ... in Boots for a mere £2.99, these little beauties could be the saviour to all your sore throat needs...say hello to Tyrozets. In the past, I ve tried various throat remedies such as Strepsils, and with all respect to them, they have little or no impact on calming down the problem, let alone even getting close to curing it. So these small tablets - which contain anaesthetic and are behind the counter at Boots due to their strength - are a potential godsend. Syndol Pain Relief Caplets ... me long to realise that if I got more sleep then I got less migraines, and Syndol helped on both counts. I ve been taking 2 tablets at night for the last 15 years and even my GP has conceded that it s probably not going to do me any great harm to continue. I do get a dry mouth and feel groggy for an hour in the mornings, but after that it s plain sailing til the next dose. Even my husband (who is a disapprover) has started to acknowledge that he gets a wonderful night with the help on one Syndol. He s usually like a coiled spring but the muscle relaxant in Syndol helps to destress him. I hope this is of help to others who may be afraid of getting addicted. Angela... INTRODUCTION ~~~~~~~~~~~ I am currently suffering from a nasty sore throat and after my GP declined to prescribe anything for my troubles, my wife did me the kindness of going to the chemist to try and get some over the counter medication to ease my woes. I sent her to get some sugar-free Strepsils, instead, on our local chemists recommendation, she opted for Tyrozets. Never one to turn down a reviewing opportunity, I decided a contemporaneous write-up was in order.
