Like everyone else I hate getting a cold, it ruins everything. You can't even get a good nights sleep! Earlier in the year when I was suffering froma nasty summer cold a friend suggested I try a nasel spray, and quite frankly couldn't believe I hadn't tried one before. So I went off and bought Sudafed nasel spray purely because I felt like it was a brand I could trust and it didn't let me down.

~Whats in it~
The main ingredient in the spray is Xylometazoline Hydrochloride (0.1%). When you have a blocked nose it is due to inflamation in the nasil passage way. This is a drug that helps to constrict the blood vessels so there is less pressure on your capillaries and there is less discharge. So basically it opens up your nasel passages so you can breathe and your not constantly blowing your nose!

~Does it work?~
Yes it does. I have tried other brands since but have found that this brand is the most effective. It works very quicky and it lasts all night. I would recommend it to anyone.

~Usage~
This product is not recommended for children and adults should only use it 2 or 3 times a day. Over use of this product could mean in extreme cases that you become tolerant to the drug and it will stop woring for you.

~Price~
In Sainsbury's you can buy it for £2.79 and in Boots it's £2.89. Where ever you get it from you are looking to pay about £3 for a small bottle. It doesn't seems like your getting much for you money but it lasts ages as you don't need much for each use. I think this is a reasonable price to pay for something that actually works.
